BCC Awards 8 Perpetual Awards each year. These awards recognise talent, dedication and love for BCC and Calisthenics. Each award is based on a set of criteria & is nominated by either BCC Members or by BCC Coaches.
Awards are then either voted for by BCC Members (BCC Club Member of the Year) or are voted on by a panel consisting of President, Vice President, Coaches Coordinator and a General Member.
Three of the Awards are named in memoriam of BCC members who gave a significaant contribution to the BCC community. The remaining 5 awards are dedicated to our our founding Members.

The Yvonne Hamlyn Trophy - Club Member of the year
The Yvonne Hamlyn Member of the Year award is awarded to a BCC member who has gone above and beyond in their dedication to BCC. Any member of BCC is eligible for this award. This award was named after Yvonne Hamlyn, who originally donated this award to BCC.

The Donna Sullivan Trophy - Participant of the year
The Donna Sullivan Participant of the Year is awarded to a participant who shows extraordinary calisthenics skill and ability with a desire and passion to continually approve on these, a dedication to BCC and Calisthenics, and fantastic sportsmanship. This award has been named after our founding member Donna Sullivan who has always been passionate about skill development, and ensuring participants are recognised for their skill and sportsmanship.

The Lee Hamlyn - Senior Encouragement Award
The Lee Hamlyn Senior Encouragement Award is awarded to a “Senior participant” which can be any participant in Intermediates, Seniors or Masters. This award to a participant who shows a dedication and love to Cali and who works hard to improve their skills.
This award is named after our founding member Lee Hamlyn, who had a love and passion for coaching the older age groups and also made a point of competing until age 50, long before Masters existed.

The Kerry Muir Trophy - Cadet of the year
The Kerry Muir Cadet of the Year Award is awarded to a Cadet who has shown great promise in their coaching ability, a consistent extraordinary assistance in class and a dedication and commitment to BCC. This award has been named after our founding member Kerry Muir who is incredibly passionate about all members being trained to the best of their ability. This includes a large passion for ensuring our cadets coming through had support at the right tools.

The Kerry Sargent Rising Star Award is awarded to a participant 7 years and under (in the tinies age group) who shows great promise and calisthenics ability in our youngest age group. Kerry Sargent has been one of our most successful and passionate tinies coaches throughout the year, always focused on the foundations and fundamental skills.

The Tanya Wilson Trophy - Spirit Award
The Tanya Wilson Spirit Award is awarded to a BCC Member who has shown an overall spirit and love for Brindabella. This award is named in memoriam of Tanya Wilson, one of BCC’s biggest supporters and fans. Her love for BCC was unmatched.
